All About Recruitment

Panhellenic Formal Recruitment is a week long process in which you will meet and greet with all the sorority women to find where you fit best. It is a mutual selection process, which means that both your opinion and the sororities opinion are taken into consideration throughout the entire week!

Night on the Row • September 15, 2016

Get to know the chapters in a casual environment through our open house during Welcome Week! ​Free food and an opportunity to meet some new awesome people - what more could ya want!?

Recruitment Orientation • September 24, 2016

Mandatory for all women who are participating in Formal Recruitment. Here you will meet your Recruitment Counselors, or “Rho Gammas” and get all necessary information and schedules regarding recruitment. Dress is casual and comfy!

Round 1 • September 25, 2016

You will meet the 7 sororities, each for 30 minutes. After Round 1, you will work with your recruitment counselor to organize your thoughts about where you felt the most comfortable.

Round 2 • September 30, 2016

You may be invited back to up to 5 sororities. You will meet with each sorority to which you are invited for 40 minutes. At the end of the evening, you will again meet with your recruitment counselor to organize your thoughts about where you felt the most comfortable.

Preference • October 1, 2016

You may be invited back to up to 2 sororities. You will meet with each sorority to which you were invited for 1 hour. During that time you will experience a sorority ritual activity and have the chance to talk more in depth with the sisters! At the end of the evening, you will meet with your recruitment counselor for the last time to discuss your thoughts.

Bid Day • October 2, 2016

This is when you will receive your formal invitation to join your sorority known as a “bid” and spend the rest of the day getting to know your new sisters.The Rho Gammas will also reveal which sorority they call their home!
